Organizational Development Special Interest Group

The OD SIG serves professionals interested in exploring, learning and sharing information about the field of organization development.

We strive to increase the impact of OD throughout the Colorado Front Range business community by cultivating the following opportunities:

  • Challenge intellectual growth among OD practitioners and stimulate expansion of our practical skills and knowledge
  • Foster an ongoing intellectual dialogue, including exchange of best practices
  • Promote the value of OD among its beneficiaries through education about the OD profession and by networking with other professions and business leaders to gain the business perspective on OD issues

The group meets regularly on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of each month. The program coordinators are Debi Cohen (debra_cohen@hotmail.com) and Holly Pendleton (hollypendleton@hotmail.com).

ASTD/BAHRA SIG

The ASTD/BAHRA Special Interest Group was started in 2002 to better serve members of the ASTD Rocky Mountain Chapter who lived/worked in the greater Boulder area. In 2004 the SIG became a joint venture with the Boulder Area Human Resources Association and ASTD-RMC became an approved provider of recertification credits for people holding PHR/SPHR/GPHR certifications. All meetings of the SIG provide 1 hour of recertification credit. The ASTD/BAHRA SIG meets on the 4th Friday of odd-numbered months (the November meeting is on the 3rd Friday) and programs address issues in Training, Organizational Development, and the full range of Human Resources. Meetings are luncheon meetings at A Spice of Life Event Center, 5706 Arapahoe Blvd. in Boulder from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to participate! Membership in ASTD-RMC or BAHRA is encouraged but not required. Meeting registration is handled by BAHRA through the onsite registration process in the Events Calendar at www.bahra.org. The meeting charge is $15.00.
