MICHELLE KELLY
PRESIDENT Michelle Kelly founded EPI
with a strong sense of what works to help develop and retain an
organization’s most valuable asset — its people. Michelle has a laundry list
of credentials behind her desire to see corporations and individuals
succeed. Among them are organizational consulting, curriculum design,
multimedia development, training and facilitation and process improvement.
Michelle’s M.S. in Education, with an emphasis in Human Resource Development
and Training, brings pointed knowledge to corporate education and retention.
As president and CEO of EPI, Michelle works with local, national and
international companies to develop and implement employee development
programs.

KATHRYN MILLER
PRESIDENT ELECT
Kathryn Miller is the Founder and Principal of Engage Communication Group, a
successful training, development, and consulting firm. Kathryn’s unique
combination of experience such as nuclear weapons training development, 10+
years of instruction and instructional design, 10+ years performing
Improvisation Comedy, and coaching professional presentation skills for Six
Sigma Black Belts and medical doctors helps her produce satisfaction for her
customers as an expert in designing advanced computer-based training and leading
the education decision making for Fortune 500 Companies.
Kathryn has performed key management roles as Department Head, Instructional
Designer, Technical Sales Director, Faculty Member, Professional Speaker,
Business Owner, and Training Manager for companies such as CH2M Hill, Technical
Information Associates, Hillside Communications, RFETS, United States Department
of Energy, Colorado Department of State, Technical and Field Engineering, and
BLUEnergy. Her extensive education background includes a BA in Communication
from Regis University (Summa Cum Laude), and The Aji Network (Graduate of the
2-year Business Professional’s Discourse and currently accepted in the
Leadership Entrepreneurship Innovation for the Accumulation of Power , LEIP,
program open only to those performing in the top 10% of the marketplace). |

BARB SMITH
PAST PRESIDENT Barb A. Smith, President and founder of S & H Consulting LLC, brings over eighteen years of extensive organizational development and training experience to her clients to help them uncover people and organizational issues and implement integrated solutions to strengthen their organization’s future. Barb possesses a broad base of expertise in strategic planning, change management, leadership development and performance improvement. Her background includes work as both an internal and external consultant. She has designed and presented hundreds of successful leadership, professional and technical training programs, as well as organizational development interventions, particularly the people management of large-scale change projects. Barb has a BS in Psychology and an MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and is certified in Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator administration, Criterion-Referenced Instruction design and Targeted Selection Process.

TIFFANY DAHLBERG
BOARD MEMBER AT LARGE
Tiffany Dahlberg, president of Achievement Consulting and Training, Inc. (a solutions provider for project management, process improvement, and employee training) has 17 years of experience in helping organizations improve their processes, better manage projects, communicate more effectively, and implement positive change.
As an internal consultant and trainer, she has contributed to the success of several Fortune 500 companies, mid-size corporations, start-ups, and non-profit organizations including TIAA-CREF, PRIMESTAR by TCI (now DirecTV), NS Associates, the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, and AT&T.
Tiffany specializes in providing employees tools and techniques that they can immediately use to positively change attitudes and behaviors in the workplace. She accomplishes this by consulting with clients to deliver interactive training that is customized specifically for the organization.

LIZ KRUPINSKI
BOARD MEMBER AT LARGE-CORPORATIONS
Liz Krupinski is the Training & Development Manager at EchoStar Technologies Corporation-Service, a company that provides direct broadcast satellite television products and services. Liz has over 20 years experience in training and development which includes a variety of fields such as restaurant, financial services, federal government, and career coaching. Her passion is truly on the development side-leading her teams to build creative, flexible, and scalable solutions that can be successful at any of the current three geographic locations she serves. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees are both in Education. She is also certified in Myers-Briggs.

JENNY DOURAS

Jenny Douras is Director of Training and Development at Mission Critical Systems, Denver’s premier IT management company for small to mid-size businesses, whose success is based on an approach that encompasses a combination of: proven processes, automation tools, and talented consulting resources.
Jenny’s background includes over 12 years in training, management, and consulting within the technology industry with companies including: Samsung, Lexmark, NEC, Cannon, Microsoft and Intel. She has managed training and marketing teams of up to 55 employees across multiple states and countries including Canada and the Caribbean. She has also been a national speaker conducting workshops across the country. She specializes in motivating employees, managing a remote workforce, hiring to reduce employee turnover, developing effective incentive programs, technology industry focused consulting, developing and delivering training that generates high retention learning.

Pam Grove, EPI - Pam Grove
is the director of consulting services for Education Partners, Inc. an
organizational consulting firm dedicated to enabling organizations to develop
and retrain their most valuable asset…people. Her expertise includes project
management, consulting, classroom and distance facilitation, and developing
custom training programs. She has worked with companies of all sizes, both
here in the United States and

MARK BOWER
VICE PRESIDENT - STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Mark Bower, Principal of Bower & Company provides clear insight into the trends and issues facing leaders in learning. Mark has held a number of learning management positions with IBM and other industry leaders bringing over 25 years of experience to his clients. His broad background includes responsibilities and achievements as an Executive, Entrepreneur, Management Consultant, Training Manager, and Instructor.
Mark believes a successful learning and performance organization must empower employees with the skills, knowledge, and beliefs that facilitate change and achievement of business objectives by optimizing strategy, design, delivery, and technology.
In addition, Mark has sat on a number of national advisory committees directing the effective use of technology and architected a number of nationally recognized information automation projects. Mark has extensive experience if all facets of learning management having provided over 220,000 hours of professional services to learning leaders in developing the strategies, processes, assets, and governance that will maximize workforce impact in achieving business objectives.
Mark holds a BS in Learning Theory from University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Boston University."

Liz Beerman
Secretary/Treasurer
As an international consultant with KLA Group, Ms. Beerman assists clients in
assessing, defining and achieving desired behavior changes across their
customer-facing organizations. With more than twenty years experience working in
both entrepreneurial as well as Fortune 500 IT companies, Ms. Beerman has
extensive experience working with sales, customer service and operations
organizations to assess, develop, and expand the skills of their people.
Ms. Beerman’s areas of expertise include:
• Skill and need assessment, gap analysis and recommendations
• Curriculum design and development,mapping and delivery options
• Mentor coaching for managers and individual contributors

Amy Bloom Amorese
VP of Communications
Amy Bloom Amorese is a fulltime Business and
Management Faculty Member at Arapahoe Community College (ACC).
Additionally, she owns a Learning and Performance consulting company,
Integrated Rhythm, Inc.
Amy began her career as a Training and Development Coordinator for global
conglomerate Johnson Controls, Inc. In 2001 Amy was named Shared Services
Manager for the Sun Microsystems account. In this role she supported Sun’s
innovative iWork Flexible Work Program. Amy gained expertise in developing
and implementing management solutions for people and projects in the virtual
workplace. In 2005 Amy was named Learning and Development Director for an
international satellite and cable installations company. Amy advanced the
organization’s learning and employee development programs through eLearning,
needs assessment and managerial development.
Amy serves on the Strategic Planning Committee for CHRA (Colorado Human
Resources Association). She also supports the South Metro Small Business
Development Center as a workshop facilitator and coordinator of the Success
Tracks program.
Amy received her BA in Speech Communication at the University of
Montevallo. She received her MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Penny McDaniel
VP
- PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Master Applied Communication and Certificate in ADR, University of Denver,
President of Collaborative Connections, Inc., has more than fifteen years of
experience working in the field of facilitation and training and
development. Penny specializes in helping organizations develop their
leaders and improve team effectiveness by creating a collaborative work
environment which supports group problem-solving, achieving goals, and
working through conflicts and issues in a positive and productive manner.
She has worked with such clients as American Water Works Association,
Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment, Colorado Municipal
League, Denver Regional Council of Governments, IBM, Metro Denver Housing
Initiative, U.S. Department of Energy, The U.S. Forest Service, The EPA, HDR
Engineering, and Social Security Administration as well as many other
organizations. Penny is also an Adjunct Faculty Member of University College
at University of Denver. |
